The SOPH&FM’s Health Policy and System (HPS) Division is pleased to host the fellows of the Executive Programme in Cape Town in the week of 17th June 2018. The Division is collaborating with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK in this programme; as well the Centre on Global Health Security at Chatham House, London , UK and the Global Health Centre at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, Switzerland.
This third residential week in Cape Town is the last face-to-face engagement for the fourteen Fellows of the 2017-18 Programme, and it will focus on leadership in complex systems. During the week Fellows will have opportunities to engage in a range of experiential learning activities and to engage with and learn more about the personal leadership journeys of a range of experienced South African health and societal leaders; as well as time to learn more about South African history – and jazz!
For the HPS division this collaborative learning programme is the new string to our bow of health policy and systems, and more specifically, health leadership, training activities.
We welcome the collaboration and look forward to learning from the Fellows next week!
