Associate Professor Di Cooper who has been with the Women’s Health Research Unit (WHRU) for the past 18 years (with UCT for 25 years) has been appointed as Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of the Western Cape as of January 2015. Di will continue to maintain strong ties with the School through her collaborative research with the WHRU, one she helped build into a centre of excellence in the Faculty.
Sue Machutchon will be retiring in December 2015 after 16 years of service and has been the administrative backbone of the Oliver Tambo Fellowship Programme in Health Management offered by the Health Policy and Systems Division.
We wish them both well in their future endeavours.
