Student Awards for Best Poster Presentations at the School's 6th Annual Research Day

Recipients of student awards for Best Poster Presentations at this year’s 6th Annual School Research Day held on Thursday 20 September 2018 were:

Chukwudi Nnaji, General Track for the Best Poster by an MPH student for his poster entitled “Effects of fractional dose yellow fever vaccination: Systematic review and meta-analysis”

Nicola Steinhaus, Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Research (CIDER) for the Best Poster by an MPH student for her poster entitled The Management and Outcomes of Staphylococcus aureus Bacteraemia at a South African Referral Hospital”

Lara Court, Division of Health Policy and Systems for the Best Poster by a MPH student for her poster entitled “Approaches and interventions to integrating palliative care into health systems in Africa”

Amanda Edwards, Division of Health Policy and Systems for the Best Poster by a MPH student for her poster entitled “Exploring knowledge translation mechanisms in the Western Cape provincial health system”

Victoria Iyun, Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics for the Best Poster by a PhD student for her poster entitled “Trends in the characteristics and outcomes of HIV-infected children initiating antiretroviral therapy in sub-Saharan Africa: Reassessing progress”

Priscilla Tsondai, Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Research (CIDER) for the Best Poster by an PhD student for her poster entitled “Characterizing the double-sided cascade of care for HIV-infected adolescents transitioning to adult-centred care in the IeDEA Southern Africa Collaboration”

Eleanor Whyle, Division of Health Policy and Systems for the Best Poster by a PhD student for her poster entitled “RESPONSIVE TO WHO/WHAT? A review of conceptualisations of 'responsiveness' in health systems literature”
